David Handschuh is an award winning photographer, writer, videographer and editor. He has been an adjunct Professor of Photojournalism at New York University since 1994.

Handschuh has taught classes on visual journalism from New York to New Delhi for photographers from age eight to eighty. He has been nominated three times for a Pulitzer Prize and has received numerous awards for his Photography from the National Press Photographers Association, Pictures of the Year, New York Press Photographers Association, New York Press Club, Society of the Silurian‚ the Deadline Club, the National Headliners and many others.
